The Pension Schirmerhof is situated at an altitude of 890 meters above sea level in the centre of Naz. The village is surrounded by orchards and vineyards, and beautiful hiking trails lead from here into the mountain regions of the highlands. The central location in Val d’Isarco makes excursions in the Dolomites, to the wine regions in the southern part of South Tyrol and in Val Pusteria possible at any time. The Pension Schirmerhof is open all year and offers single travellers, families and tour groups the perfect setting for relaxing holiday weeks in the Alps.

Twice a year, the apple plateau in Naz/Sciaves is the venue for nationally significant events. The Royal Festival at the apple blossom in the spring and the Apple Festival in the fall attract many visitors from all regions in South Tyrol to the Val d’Isarco. Hiking trails lead from Naz into the alpine areas, and numerous mountain bike trails and Nordic Walking paths are located on the high plateau. In the winter, the ski resorts Bressanone Plose, Gitschberg-Val Giovo and Plan de Corones invite you to a visit. Famous attractions in the area include the Messner Mountain Museum in Juval, the “Ötzi Museum” in the South Tyrolean provincial capital of Bolzano and numerous medieval castles. With the Alpe di Villandro, the Alpe di Rodengo and the Alpe di Luson, superb hiking areas can be reached in less than half an hour by car.
